Dr. Stark is in full-time practice of cardiology and internal medicine. He is past-president of the Connecticut Society of Internal Medicine, and currently teaches on the clinical faculty of New York Medical College. His medicolegal experience dates back 20 years to his appointment to the Connecticut Medical Malpractice Claims review Panel. He assisted in assessing the defensibility of cases for malpractice insurers and individual law firms. He has served as an expert witness and provided deposition and trial testimony in over 125 cases. Recurring issues have included heart attack, cardiac arrest, atrial fibrillation, stroke, congestive heart failure and the complications arising from anticoagulation and misinterpretation of EKG’s and echocardiograms.
