Rod Bergen is a Superior Court-approved Expert Witness in horse behavior relating to personal injury & property damage. He is experienced in expert witness deposition preparation & trial testimony and has been successfully involved in over seven dozen horse related cases (both plaintiff and defendant).
Mr. Bergen is a specialist in equine accident reconstruction, horse facility evaluation, riding equipment suitability, horsemanship safety standards & personal liability issues associated with horse related activities (horse shows, trail riding, competitive sports, etc.).
Formal Education: Coursework in Horsemanship and Horse Husbandry, Degreed Electrical Engineer
Honors/Awards: Chosen as one of the country's top 50 riding instructors in 2007, Named the National Mounted Patrol Training Officer of the year 2001, selected to be the principal riding instructor for the Pierce College Community horseback riding program
