I began my insurance career as a multiple lines outside adjuster before being promoted to a liability supervisor for a major property and casualty insurer. After graduating from law school I served as an insurance defense counsel and focused my practice on representing insurance agents, brokers and insurance companies as well as providing coverage opinions. After retiring from the practice of law in 1998, I began an independent consulting firm serving as an expert witness and litigation consultant in insurance matters including bad faith, insurance agent/broker standard of care, insurance industry custom and practice, and insurance coverage and claims handling. I have been teaching insurance related courses since 1992. I have considerable deposition and trial experience.
