Dr. Susan M. Catlett is an autism consultant and behavior analyst (doctoral level) who has focused her area of expertise to individuals with autism spectrum disorders for over 25 years. She has four Texas teaching certificates in addition to her board -certified behavior analyst status. Dr. Catlett works primarily with school districts in the areas of educational and behavioral programming. Dr. Catlett holds a Master of Education (1991), with an emphasis in Severe and Profound Disabilities, and has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Individual Differences from the University of Houston (1999).
As a consultant, Dr. Catlett has assisted numerous school districts in the development of policies and procedures for conducting functional behavior analyses, implementing behavior intervention plans, and providing in-home and parent training services. Dr. Catlett has also assisted school districts in implementing the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) for students on the autism spectrum and other developmental disorders.
