Mr. Wilson is an engineering professional with 30 years of experience in the medical device industry with a focus in orthopedics. Legal services include consulting, analysis and expert witness support in product lability and intellectual property matters. He is knowledgeable and experienced in orthopedic implants, allograft, biomechanics, failure analysis, product testing, clinical studies, design controls, FMEA, FDA and ISO regulations, ISO biocompatibility testing and manufacturing. He has held engineering and leadership positions in hip, knee, spine, allograft and craniomaxillofacial sectors in start-up to large size companies with direct involvement in all facets of business from concept to commercialization, including a long-term role as Vice President of Research & Development at a spinal device company. He has extensive field experience with surgeons, OR staff and sales personnel; and clinical study experience in the US and abroad including study design, regulatory submissions, enrollment, case coverage and data collection. As a result, he has a comprehensive understanding of pathologies and clinical procedures that can be applied to support legal arguments in any setting. He is a named inventor on 16 US patents and holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in biomechanics.
