William M. Tilford, FLMI, CLU, FALU, Fellow (ALUCA) is an active consultant to the Life, Health and Disability Income insurance industry and has over three decades of experience with special expertise in matters related to the selection of risks, rescission and reformation of policies. He is an active member (and as of 2013, Vice Chair) of the Committee on Life Insurance Mortality and Underwriting Surveys of the Society of Actuaries and, as of May 2016, the Vice President, External Relations for the Association of Home Office Underwriters (AHOU). He is also a published author in life insurance industry publications. He is very selective about the expert witness cases that he accepts but does consider plaintiff and defendant cases.
